“We loved our stay in this perfect treehouse! The accommodations were clean and inviting, with lots of thoughtful touches tucked throughout the property (I won’t give them away here!). The hosts were wonderful, friendly, and made communication a breeze. Location is great, and will only continue to improve as Chimney Rock continues to rebuild from Helene. Speaking of Chimney Rock, the property was perfectly positioned for getting to the park for hiking, and had beautiful views from below. And……

“As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!”

“Fully furnished kitchen with good quality cookware (no Teflon), close to grocery store, Lake Lure, and a lovely private backyard and screened-in porch. Every detail from closet hangers, luggage rack, beach towels, and toiletries were provided. One of the best places I've every stayed!”

“Wonderful house - very roomy, clean and well stocked throughout. View is incredible! Location is private but also convenient to hiking, shopping and restaurants. We had fabulous pizza from La Strada in Lake Lure. Melissa was a great host, very responsive. We would definitely stay there again”

“This was a spectacular find! We saw plenty of wildlife near the property and the weather and drive up were beautiful. It was a great home base for a weekend trip to Asheville. The cabin itself was very clean, the wifi was reliable and we really appreciated the list of bar, hiking, restaurant and brewery recommendations. 10/10 would recommend.”
