“Es un hotel pintoresco y muy distinto a todo. No es en si un castillo sino una casona antigua que fue adaptada en 1969 como hotel dándole una apariencia de castillo. Las habitaciones muy buenas y hermosas pero las áreas comunes, estancias y pasillos requieren ya de un mantenimiento mayor.”

The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. “Clean and quiet lodge great for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. A 10 minute walk into the town and a 20 minute bus ride to Connemara National Park which was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was quite good as well for a buffet style arrangement, able to have a full Irish if you so please as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. The staff were very accommodating as there were huge delays with the rails and a missed train the day we arrived and we didn't get in until after 8 pm...
