"This was a lovely bolt hole in the country and an ideal location for visiting wonderful local landmarks. The cottage was well equipped and nicely presented with a welcoming box of biscuits on arrival. Very quiet with tranquil views. The owners were over the driveway and extremely friendly. Salisbury, Glastonbury, Sherborne and the like were within easy reach as was Poole on the coast. An ideal spot and perfect for that relaxing getaway."

"Great hotel but out of the way. Worth it because of the beautiful grounds. Suite was wonderful and staff were very helpful. Would stay here again."

"The breakfast was very nice, the croissants were delicious. My bathtub wouldn't convert to a shower, the mechanism had seized up, and the deep tub was difficult to climb out of, partly due to my having one injured arm, and also due to there being no rubber tub mat and the tub floor being very slippery. I told reception about both issues at checkout. The view of the sea from my daughter's room was spectacular and my room, on the ground floor, had no view but was nice and quiet. Luckily we stayed before the area was engulfed in a heat wave so the rooms weren't overly hot, the breeze was able to keep them cool enough for sleeping. We loved being so close to the beach, pier and restaurants, an easy walk to all, and the long gardens walk up from the pier was lovely."

"The Royal Bath Hotel was wonderful! We arrived a few days after its 188th anniversary so that was extra special. We chose this venue to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. We enjoyed afternoon tea and made good use of the on-site spa facilities. The staff are friendly, our room was clean and the breakfast was well presented. The hotel is very centrally located with just a few minutes walking distance to Bournemouth beach/Bournemouth pier. Harry Ramsden’s famous fish ‘n’ chips is must go to and I’d recommend the hop on / hop off sightseeing bus as well."

"Lovely room - very welcoming having soothing music playing on the radio as we first went into the room. Staff all friendly and efficient - special shout out for Tanya on reception.
