Conveniently located about 9 miles from the Montrose airport, it provides easy access to town but also peace and quiet!! Enjoy your morning coffee on the back covered patio, or a glass of wine on the front patio and with a the view of the mountains!! The great room is very comfortably furnished with plenty of room for entertaining. There is a dining room and an eat in kitchen for those large family meals. Speaking of the kitchen, it is the most fully equipped of all the kitchens in places where we have previously stayed!! The owner, Norm, is very responsive and easy to work with. We were in Montrose to purchase farm property and this was an excellent introduction to the area and surrounding towns. House was on a great piece of land, very private and well kept. Pictures of outside and inside do not do it justice. Roomy, comfortable, clean and welcoming. We had one little glitch with the wifi and very quickly corrected by Norm our host - wonderful person and his home reflects the love that he and his wife put into it. More than ample supplies of everything. We will definately rebook this property when we are back in the area as the sale went through and we will be visiting often. Montrose, Delta, Orathe and Ridgway were great visiting and communities are very welcoming and eateries were perfect. It is situated out on a country road that is quiet and away from major traffic, with only an 8ish minute drive to Montrose and a 20 minute drive to Delta. We cooked every day in an extremely well equipped kitchen, enjoyed steaks from a clean and well maintained grill on sunset covered porch and morning coffee with breathtaking mountain sunrise. There were six of us and sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and adequate. Shower had the best water pressure in Colorado :). It’s perfectly laid out, kitchen has everything a cook could require, all new appliances etc. Norm was absolutely gracious about accommodating our requests. Spacious, clean and new.
