“We had an amazing stay at this beautiful château in the countryside of the Loire Valley. The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment. The room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay. We weren’t aware that the only access to the rooms on the first floor is up and outside stone staircase - not ideal in the wet. The car park is small but manageable even with large vehicles. We’d happily return ”
