"Room was clean and basic. We had a balcony that looked into the sea. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was private and abundant. We came off season so the hotel was empty. Parking was across the street for 5 euro a day. Nice hotel in the Center of town. The restaurant - we had dinner and it was fabulous !!! Homemade soup - delicious. "

"We booked this accommodation based on closeness to Plitvic National Park. After entering the park Please be aware that it is another 1/2 hour drive to parking where walks commence. The mattresses were very comfortable and we slept well here. Just simple accommodation, two hot plates and toaster only cooking options. TV’s in both bedrooms and living. We would stay again based on price."

"A beautiful, peaceful property in the small village of Smokvica right by the sea. Lorena, the hostess, was on site to give us a warm friendly greeting. Also, she took us through out the property explaining everything and answered all our questions about the home and area. Everything was very well thought out for their guests. I would definitely recommend this excellent, beautiful property for wonderful, peaceful vacation. "

"Staro Selo (Old Village) is a very special place for me because my mother grew up in this small mountain village. Even without the family connection this was a wonderful stay. I can not say enough about Tea who was phenomenal at hosting and going over and above, taking much time to research and answer the many questions I had about the village.. I highly recommend staying here. It has a great sea view from the terrace. If you want to just get away and experience the quiet peace of this mountainside village it will refresh your soul."
