“Clean, modern and nicely appointed room with great views. We appreciated the included parking spot- super helpful in this town. Loved the bedding and toiletries that were included. My only complaint is that the AC didn’t seem to work as efficiently as it should for a newly renovated room. Also the room darkening shades are amazing and keep it very dark. Would recommend!!”

“We only spent night in this magical hotel, but wish we'd spent longer. Though somewhat tricky to drive to, there is a big parking lot, and it's only a 5 min walk down the hill to the old town and restaurants. The view is stunning, with a lovely garden from which we enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The building is charming and our room was decorated with delightful antique elements.”

“Excellent location for exploring the Gjirokastër bazaar — right in the heart of it all. Arriving close to midnight made parking a bit tricky to find at first, but once we explored the bazaar the next day we discovered a convenient parking deck nearby with shortcuts that made getting to and from the hotel with our bags easy. Our room had stunning views of the mountains, the castle, and the city below — an unforgettable setting. Highly recommend!”

“This place is as beautiful as it is historical. It was built around the 13th century and has so much charm and character. It is family-owned and operated and they were all so kind and helpful. The rooms are updated with a/c (very welcome during the July heat) and a beautiful, renovated bathroom. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. They also offer a lovely breakfast included with the room. I can’t recommend this place enough. An absolute gem in the heart of Gjirokastër!”

“Not going to give blanket 1 stars, because i didn't feel like they were deserved. We did however, leave a day early with no refund on the night not stayed. We booked a room with a jacuzzi, and it was disgusting from night 1. The bubbles coming up had this biofilm, so we drained it ourselves and refilled. There were a bunch of flakes in it, which they staff claim are salts. It wasn't salts, or it would've dissolved in this hot water(unless it was super saturated, but i would float on top if it……
