“Great apartment in a perfect location. I was on my own, but this would have also been ideal for a family. There is a sauna and hot tub below. Well equipped kitchen. The lady at the reception was friendly and wonderfully helpful. She helped me to get my motorcycle into the garage. I hadn't heard of Henties Bay in the past, it turned out to be a brilliant seaside town for relaxing and walking. There's a good supermarket and restaurants. I had fish and chips at Fishy Corner, and a toasted sandwich……

“A very old and worn-out building. Musty smell. Wobbly floorboards. No air-con. I was hassled twice to move my motorcycle to an inadequate parking place, even though I had booked an apartment with parking. The receptionist behaved a bit oddly, putting pressure on me to but her a drink, which was uncomfortable. I booked two days, but left after one. In quite a good location to walk along the sea front. Swakopmund is a nice town.”
