"This is a unique and special place. A little pricey, but worth it. This is a manor house built in 1795, with a wine cellar, and an indoor swimming pool also in the cellar. Just beautiful. We stayed on the top floor, with a round water bed, and skylights that look up to the stars. There is also an outdoor wooden infinity swimming pool with a jacuzzi corner. It's just an amazing feeling to be in a wooden swimming pool. Lovely breakfast. Wish we had been able to stay 2-3 days."

"The property is very pretty with the highlight being the terrace with seating and hessian ‘sails’ to keep parts of it shaded, plus some lovely mature plants, it is an oasis. "A delightful stay surrounded by vineyards! The cheese and wine pairing tasting we had was excellent, and the dinners we had in the restaurant were excellent; tased great and good service. Only let down is the overpriced breakfast… not much in the way of hot food, and it’s a self service buffet with consistently burnt pastries so definitely not worth €22 each! "

"An absolutely beautiful holiday home! Everything except a couple of things was fantastic. The pool was wonderful and the whole pool area was amazing. Inside, the property had a spacious living area and kitchen, with a utility and all the appliances you needed. The WiFi was good and the parking area and gate was also good. The host, Pascal, and manager, Michelle, were extremely friendly and helpful and very easy to get hold of if needed. The only thing that detracted from our stay was the fact that the only air conditioning units were in the bedroom and not the living area, so to keep the place cool, we had to leave the bedroom unit on and the door open otherwise we would have roasted! The other problem were the stairs, which were not mentioned in the details and we weren’t expecting. My partner is slightly disabled and found the stairs a real problem. I actually thought they were dangerous as there were no handrails at all on any of the three stairs from the parking area into the property. I had thought that the whole property was on the same level and would not have booked it if I’d known about the stairs even though it was wonderful, it was a real problem for us to get in and out so we didn’t go far at all for the fortnight. We were just very glad to be so comfy once we got in. I would really recommend handrails on the utility stairs and the ones to the front door and a complete overhaul of the outside steps up to the pool, which looked like they had been in an earthquake!"
