"Do not chose this destination for any special events. no birthdays no weddings. Not good for groups. My aunts chose this hotel for a 60th birthday celebration. The manager/ event coordinator from the hotel was not responsive to questions and accommodations. Up until the last hour before the event, the changed the location of the event because the owner of the hotel was hosting a party in the room we were suppose to have our event. Added so much unnecessary stress to a very special day. The pool area was dirty. People drinking in the water and spilling drinks. All inclusive? Not really! Open bar? no! Only beer and wine and sugary drinks. Beach is rocky. The rooms are ok. You will overpay for everything in Curacao from taxi rides to tours. If you like that kind of stuff, this is your place."

"Overall we had a nice stay and would probably return, but there were definitely some areas that could use improvement. The grounds and property could use some updating in certain areas. The staff experience was hit or miss — some employees were very pleasant and welcoming, while others seemed uninterested. Our room itself was wonderful, comfortable, and well kept. One frustrating issue, though, was receiving disruptive phone calls at all hours of the night from guests mistakenly thinking our room was the front desk or concierge, which became very aggravating during the stay, waking us out of a dead sleep. The beach was nice overall, although it depended on where you were on the property since some sections were smaller and rocky. Some of the units had a walkout right to the water which was nice. Despite the downsides, we still enjoyed our trip. If we return, we would likely stay on the all-inclusive side instead, as it appeared more upscale, better maintained, and seemed to have fewer young children."

"We enjoyed our room! We were upgraded and our welcome was really good. The maintenance staff responded immediately to change the smoke detector battery and also to replace a missing screw. We enjoyed our VIP treatment of a free bottle of wine and free breakfast during our stay! The location is perfect. Absolute serenity, away from the hustle and bustle in areas like Simpson Bay and Phillipsburg. World definitely recommend!"
