This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely. Everything was done to a high standard, the staff were amazing and great with my two little ones. The food they do as well was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay, just outside of Edinburgh. Carly, the owner is so lovely and friendly too. I honestly can't recommend this place enough! As an American family we are a little more used to larger beds but the smaller scale beds seemed to be the usual in Scotland. Carly was very helpful and personable. Their restaurant was delicious. Hot tub is an extra bonus. We loved everything and recommend Juniperlea Inn! Only thing I could mark it down on was some black mould around the bath taps and shower screen which should really have been spotted by whoever cleans the bathroom. We used the in house restaurant and found the food and service top notch. No complaints there at all.
