"I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra. "This was such a unique place to stay! I had read so much about the facility, but I never realized it was once a sardine factory. Knowing that made the inside even more fascinating and unique. The staff was absolutely amazing, and the location was perfect for visiting both Campobello and Deer Island. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others!"

"One night stay. Property is being refurbished following a fire in one of the blocks, so, as its the road facing block that burned, when you turn up it looks like a building site. However they are open, using the unaffected blocks at the rear. The room was well appointed and clean. But the bathroom really needs updating. It works well enough, but looks dirty, but I think it's just worn beyond making it clean, IYSWIM."
