"Lovely clean property and owners went out of their way to welcome us and help make our holiday special. Great setting in view of the sea in an unspoilt part of Portugal. Only a short drive to the city delights of Porto (I recommend parking in Matosinhos and catching public transport or the hop-on buses) and Viana do Castelo worth a visit."

"Hemos pasado unos días muy buenos y tranquilos en la casa y en la localidad de Esposende. Una casa grande y con todo muy bien. La piscina es magnífica. La playa está a cinco minutos andando. Si tienes perro, a 10 minutos tienes una estupenda playa adaptada a perros. Si hay ocasion volveremos."

"House is in an unusual neighborhood and was very difficult to find because hand-drawn maps were hard to understand and were in French. Owners are absentee landlords living in France and did not communicate on WhatsApp, as I requested. Tried by email, but owner always used French, not my language! No soap, shampoo, napkins, paper towels, condiments, coffee or tea provided. That being said, place was very clean, spacious (could easily handle 6 people) and beautiful, a few km from beautiful beach....

"Eine sehr gut gelegene Wohnung im ersten Stockwerk mit Zugang zum Gemeinschaftspool. Die Wohnung und das Gebäude selbst sind bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Atlantik liegt gleich gegenüber. Dazwischen ist noch eine Restaurantstraße mit Stil. Also keine Hotelecke. Das Team des Anbieters ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir fanden es sehr nett und hatten einen schönen Urlaub."

"Rooms were very modern and attractive. The rainhead shower was excellent. The kitchen was handy. The room had a safe but the safe wasn't bolted to anything, thus we didn't feel if was useful. Tip: be sure to choose a room on the top floor so you don't get the sounds of people walking around at 600am. The staff was very helpful. The location was perfect! "

"We very much enjoyed staying at the D. Maria Apartments. Clean bedroom and bath. The building’s street elevation is of historic design, the interior has been renovated but kept the large granite stone walls. Walking distance to restaurants and vine bars, easy park-house parking. "Eduardo was an amazing host. He kept in contact leading up to our trip and offered directions and suggestions to help us with our travels. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. Our kids were in the pool every day and enjoyed the size of the house and rooms. One of few houses in the area with a pool it was an ideal base for our trips into braga and not too far from the beach in the opposite direction"

"The host Patricia was very kind. The appartment was somewhat dated. The pictures looked Better. Availability of linnen and towels was wonderful. "It was a very nice stay. Friendly hosts. Clean and comfortable home nice shared green space. The beach and board walk was great and led to awesome restaurants in both directions. The only down side is it is a little isolated with out a car but there is a bus near by and taxis are available and under 10 euros to get to town "
