"Beautiful views and great communication from the owner on how to find it and access your hut. We stayed in The Hive for one night and it was a little dusty, everything needed a deep clean. It didn’t ruin our trip, and would visit again in the hope this was a one off error."

"Amazing four poster bed, linen, blankets etc. Great decor throughout. Lovely host. Loved seeing the horses, Shetland ponies and the donkey from our decking, and stroking them. Brilliant log burner."

"We stayed for 2 nights in May. Loved the hot tub, nice views of the countryside. The bar and restaurant were convenient with a good choice of beers. The location was good, being walkable to Tenterden passing hops fields on the way but would recommend getting a taxi back in the evening."

"We had a lovely stay, it was great to have the brewery next door and have the lovely quiet views and the hot tub. Booking and check in was easy. Only things that could be improved: - bed was very hard, so wasn't a great nights sleep - lighting was either very harsh or too dim, so would be nice to have some lamps to make it feel cozy at night Thanks"

"Our trip to the Shepherds Hut was nothing short of idyllic! Our host Jay was so helpful and kind, even going so far as to give us a lift to Tunbridge Wells when our pre-booked taxi didn't show up. The outdoor kitchen was so easy to use, and made an al fresco breakfast very lovely. We took full advantage of the firepit - logs and kindling provided for us - as well as the lovely walks nearby. I would recommend to anyone looking to get away for a bit of peace and beauty!"

"As a group of 5 friends wanting a weekend get together this was a prefect blend of comfort/quirkiness and countryside living. The converted Horsebox is very homely and tasteful as well as comfortable. We also added the hosts new Italian army truck as secondary accommodation so that we had more space to spread ourselves out. "I was here for the weekend and have to say great hotel. The hotel was bright and welcoming the staff were friendly happy to help. I had a single room with a seaview which both was lovely. The room was clean and a good size room. I will be going there again for my next stay. Great job majestic 👏 "
