It was like walking into a horror film. Strong chemical smell as soon as the front entrance opened, very dingy lighting and the room we were given was ADA compliant but we weren’t in need of this kind of room. Water stains in the front door of the room, it smelled musty as if it had been abandoned for quite some time. The look alone made you feel like you would come home with bed bugs. Immediately went back to the desk for a refund and to find better accommodation

Absolutely loved the bar service provided by server on Friday night, totally awesome. Very diligent with beautiful personality. I tipped her accordingly. She switched tv to the NHL Playoff game I wanted to watch. Awesome staff. Keep her. In retrospect, the server/bar manager on friday night needs to improve her skills.

When we checked in we were charged double, only to find blood on our sheets and the front desk worker said he was unable to get new sheets for us since he was the only one working. Hot tub was colder than a bath, fights outside our room at 2am and hotel staff did nothing to stop it.

The room we got had previously had a water leak that had been painted over and had started to mold. When staff was notified they didn’t seem surprised. Staff stated that we were going to cancel the room and reimburse me as the hotel was full. They however did not reimburse me and instead charged my card.

This place must have been built in the 1960's and hasn't been upgraded since. e.g. Poor lighting in the pool area. Hot tub - advertised but doesn't work. Dark hallways. No signs giving directions, etc.

The common areas smelled like smoke, which was unpleasant. Also we found food from a previous guest in the freezer compartment, and a used washcloth hanging in the shower. The coffee was so bad I went out for breakfast. The place has potential, but there are a few areas for improvement.

This property used to be the old Expressway Inn in Fargo. I wish you would have referenced this on the ad or on your website, as if I knew I would’ve never stayed there. And furthermore, I can’t believe that a major hotel chain would put their name on a property that so dilapidated The price was very high, for in my opinion, a half star hotel. This hotel is in disrepair. The ceiling tiles are all water stained, and some of them are even boughing, the bathrooms are gross, the carpets stained, and I had dirty bedsheets on one of the beds in my room. We had talked to another guest in the lobby and he had the same experience with having dirty bed sheets. We waited for almost 20 minutes for staff to arrive to check us in for our stay. I do not recommend anybody ever stay there. I wish I could get my money back.

4 different keys wouldn't work in the door. Tiles in the ceiling had water damage and some other points they were gone and wires showing. Never even saw the room. No changing table to change the diaper of our 5 month year old in the lobby after we wait 20 minutes to get into the room that we never got into and another 15 trying to figure keys out. We ended up driving 2 ½ hours back to Bismarck cuz we were so mad

I always stay in the affordable hotels. I’m not a rich man, I take what I can get. So every time I book a hotel I’m slightly nervous that I’ll be in a flea bag. But I’m almost always pleasantly surprised. This time my fears were actualized. Starting the second I walked in & had to wait TWENTY minutes for any staff member to come up to the desk. I’d been on the road for quite a while & was eager to get checked in so I could use the restroom. I had to wander around the hotel and find their public bathroom & the pungent old urine smell in it was like a punch in the face. I finally got checked in & the room smelled bad, there were gross looking long streaks all down the mirror, the sheet was stained (I don’t want to know what it was). I don’t think they cleaned anything, but it was especially evident that they didn’t clean the sink- there was hair in it and what was left when someone dumped coffee or soda in it, debris all over the floor & the flat tops of everything (fridge, etc). I never expect anything to be perfect, but there was honestly nothing appealing about this place. I would’ve gone elsewhere but after being on the road all day, I just didn’t want to deal with the hassle of making a fuss & being moved to another room that was probably just as bad, or worse- having to book at a different hotel and fight for a refund from this one. I didn’t dare go into the pool after seeing the state of my room. Also, the layout here is bizarre & it was hard to even find my room

This was a very fine motel back in 1960's when I went to college in Fargo. Now it is not worthy of the Baymont name. The room was very hot when we checked in. Following the instructions on how to get it cooler nothing worked. We suffered through the night. Upon telling the front desk about the problem when we checked out his answer. was " we know the temp control in the west wing is not working" yet they put people into that wing and charged $175 for the night. I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK. I'll sleep in my car before I would stay there again.
