“La Piccola Locanda is not a hotel, they don’t have a front desk. The owner sends an email before check in date explaining this “Albergo diffuso accomodation concept” meaning they can place you anywhere, the check in time are only from 11:00 - 2:45 and 6 -11:00 pm. The owner left me the keys on top of a barell, the entrance to the building was like a storage, no elevator, I dragged my suitcase 5 stair flights, and I was alone in the whole building, very scary! I ended up staying somewhereelse!”

“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place.
