The Landmark Hotel and SPA Leisure Club a Palette hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel with fantastic staff and beautiful grounds. Decor is fab but carpets a little tired which hardly detracts from the "niceness" of everything. The bath and shower are absolutely superb!
Didn't like the pay to park which was not mentioned in the Expedia listing - but the staff, ever helpful, comped me on the parking which was a brilliant bit of extra service. Food in the on-site restaurant is delicious and a well thought out varied menu to suit all appetites and tastes. Beware the Inca cocktail - it is absolutely lethal and far too refreshing. Luckily it wasn't far to crawl "home". As a solo female traveller, I was made to feel welcome, treated so well, and felt safe and happy for my whole 4 day stay. I will definitely be back to the Landmark for all my Dundee visits which will be frequent."
"Not a great area or parking, but the hotel itself was great, clean, good folks running everything. The breakfast was outstanding, pretty close to a full Scottish breakfast."
"Disappointed with Expedia.
I booked two nights here and I was asked by my company to stay an extra day so when I went to book an extra night in the apex I was shocked to learn it would cost me £160 per night without breakfast.
The first two days I booked was £127 per night + £14 parking fee.
So when I tried to book an extra night Expedia had bumped the price up to £160 per night .
I checked and there were plenty of rooms available so there was no excuse .
Absolute disgrace! "
"Absolutely beautiful place to stay. My first time in Scotland and this hotel felt like a home. The staff were some of the most friendly I have encountered on my travels. The views outside were to die for. I did come during a heat wave and my room did not have a/c. I will say though it added to the pathetic of a very old school hotel which I did think was fun. Overall I will be staying here each time I visit Dundee. "
"From the welcoming and helpful staff to the incredible bedding to the delicious breakfast with a view, everything about the Rusacks is exceptional. I will hopefully be back soon."
"Helpful lady on reception, checked us in early, plenty of teas and coffees in the room and toiletries, comfy beds, spacious room, great location for access to the river walk and into the town"
