The exhibition took place at the Basilica Della Pietrasanta (Lapis Museum) and was divided into 5 sections (Russian Traditions, his relationship with Intellectuals and Poets, his religiosity with Bible-inspired works, Nature and human behavior). Chagall's works are very colorful and with broad strokes. They stand on a borderline between dream and reality where memories, poetry, religion and war mingle.
