We loved our stay at Hotel Torbrau. All the staff were a pleasure to deal with, from the front desk to the very helpful persons at breakfast. When we arrived very early our luggage was stored in a secure area. We received an email when our room was ready and the luggage was there.
The breakfast spread was amazing with so many choices of meats, cheeses, fruit, breads etc. They even made me an omelette. Staff were so friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect with just a short walk to Marienplatz but in a less congested area.
The room was spotless and I can't remember many hotels that restock your mini fridge every day for free. (Water, juices and small cookies)
I highly recommend the Hotel Torbrau when staying in Munich.

Decent hotel by the airport but outside of Munich. Biggest complaint is the internet/wifi was horrible and wasn’t connecting. When I went down to the front desk to ask for help, the woman was extremely rude and dismissive. She said that because the hotel was fully booked, that’s probably why the internet wasn’t working and I would have to deal with it. When the Internet did finally work, they have strict parental controls on the WiFi. I was trying to watch YouTube podcast and then tried Netflix (nothing inappropriate) and most of the videos or shows weren’t showing up. But if I used data from my phone it worked just fine. Everything else was adequate but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.
