“We had a lovely time at this property, ideally located - just minutes to the beach or the town with off road parking. Easy check in. Area was quiet,the house had lovely views of the sea. Very spacious with comfortable beds and lovely fresh bedding. I was concerned after seeing previous reviews about cleanliness but we found it to be very clean just need a bit of refreshing in some areas which probably gets done in low season.Nice to have enclosed garden for dog. Our only moan would be……

“We stayed for four nights this November and didn’t want to leave! We were celebrating a 30th birthday and made the most of everything- the marvellous garden, the top of the range hot tub, the BBQ and of course the surrounding salt marsh area, taking out the kayak and bird watching. The resident tawny owl made sitting out watching the stars a must too. Our host Patrick was very friendly and communicative making booking and organisation easy. The local amenities, Red Lion pub and Stiffkey stores……

“When I booked the apartment I chose the one with a sea view however on arrival our accom was at the rear of the building. That said it did not detract from our stay. Would have liked some instruction booklets for the central heating and appliances but we muddled through. Also some brochures for attractions in the are would have been helpful. All in all we had a great time and we would book the Burlington again. ”

“It was a beautiful home exactly the style we wanted..Loved the warmth of it all , the heaters in the lounge worked well and there was plenty of room for us to relax.The kitch was all we needed , we could have done with a few containers to store food in .And we there wasnt enough toil paper for the week but other than that we loved our week.”

“The cottage was clean and comfortable. the stairs were a bit difficult to manage. but managed we did. the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. places to eat were not far away, lovely place to stay thankyou ”

“Lovely site, with new shepherds huts and yurts being adds to the site.. work is ongoing but done respectfully. Very peaceful with no WiFi, no phone signal or TV.. which was a plus, sat into the night by the fire pit talking playing cards etc. ”
