“This place is in an isolated area but a good stop over on nc 500 for day trips to summer isles and the Drumbeg loop. The hotel is old and lacks lighting. Very dark but clean. Room was good. Comfortable bed. If you cannot carry big suitcases upstairs ask for room on flat as it was difficult. Parking just across the road Rarely saw anyone in the hotel only at breakfast and dinner time. You need to order dinner well in advance as no were around to eat. Good home cooked breakfast and dinner.……

“Lovely, spacious rooms and delightful staff. Dinner menu was fantastic and we took up the offer for packed lunches (sandwich, yoghurt, crisps and delicious rocky road) for our continuing NC500 journey which were excellent and very inexpensive. Loved the laid back atmosphere, we felt comfortable and at home. Definitely recommend! ”

“Een leuke hostel vlak bij het strand. Wij hadden een kamer met 2 1persoons bedden. Bedden waren goed beddengoed schoon. Medegasten in slaapzaaltje naast ons, smeten erg met de deuren. Er zat een zware dranger op de deur, zodat deze met klap dichtviel. Ik schrok daar steeds wakker van. Dat je pas om 17.00uur kon inschrijven vond ik heel laat en een nadeel.”

“Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away.”

“House was nice and clean, stocked with some of the basics you like to find (salt& pepper, washing liquids etc). The hosts made contact and offered to light the fire for our arrival which we were grateful for having got rather wet in the morning. We were also able to do a load of laundry before continuing our road trip. The local was a bit of a hidden gem being in between the Lochs, the access by harbour was great and our boys really enjoyed having the place to themselves for a while. It was a……
