“Beautiful lakefront property and a great place to stay. The hosts are just the best. Super friendly and so accommodating . It felt like we were staying at a lake house with family. The lake water was comfortable and vibe is very chill. It exceeded our expectations. If you want to rent a boat you can rent from Moosejaw Resort. The owners there are super friendly as well. Just reserve well in advance to get the dates/ boat type you want.”

“The description and the pictures are very misleading. We drove up walked in and left immediately! THERE IS NO A/C . When you stay in a home especially when it is 95 degrees outside it becomes a sauna. The entire place is so small. I could touch both walls standing in the middle of the room. The pictures of the lake are very misleading. its' a freaking swamp. Also there "boat" they offer was filled with water half sunk into the lank and covered in pond scum. Also not to mention you are one block...

“We had a wonderful 3 night stay! Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Everything you would need was available. Communication was great. Any questions were answered in minutes. My son and his wife came up for one day with their 3 year-old.The lake is crystal clear with a sand bottom. We had a great time in the water and sitting around the campfire! ”

“I knew it was going to be "nice" but it turned out to be far more. Manicured walking trails thru the woods, a kitchen equipped to prep a gourmet meal for 10 or more, great-sized bedrooms, fabulous A/C, garage parking, etc. 'Already booked a stay for next year. The hosts are amazing, deserve a premier plus rating.”

“Seems like it is a new VRBO, the property is nice, great location. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING. Maybe they are working on it. However half of our occupants were miserable and overheated, which made for a less than ideal vacation. Yes there were a couple box fans. The front door handle fell off Saturday, still was not fixed by the time we left tuesday. There is no actual private water access, the shoreline needs to be trimmed down and some sort of dock added, or not, but the shoreline is...

“My husband and three boys stayed here and we brought up our fishing boat. They boys loved walking out to the pier and fishing. We had other family memebers staying at other cabins on the lake and we all rented pontoon boats and went to the sandbar to swim and fish. The grills were great for making lunch and dinner. The cabin was cozy and very clean. Overall a great cabin to rent for the week! ”

“We had other family, 10 total, staying at another property on Fence Lake, and we could not have picked a better place for me and my wife to stay than The Fence Lake Retreat. It was very cozy and had all of the amenities we needed. I’m sure the tv was nice, but we never even turned it on…too busy enjoying the lake and all of the surroundings.
