"We stayed in the home for a CAST bass tournament on Lake Bob Sandlin. The home was super clean and beautiful. Great parking too! The home has a very nice dock on the water. It is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. We had a very nice time staying at the home. Will be booking again in the future! The Host was excellent in communication and answered any questions when booking property. This is a very nice home with plenty of room."

"My boys took their dad and grandad on a guys fishing trip for the weekend and they had an absolute blast! They said it was quiet and peaceful. The place was well stocked and comfortable. They really enjoyed the private pond and each caught 30+ bass. They said the provided breakfast food and fresh eggs were delicious. They also brought blackberries home that the owner gave to them from their garden and I made blackberry cobbler with them. They haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had!...

"My husband I stayed four nights in May 2024. The property is really nice. The deck has great views of the sunrise and the hammock swing is so relaxing to sit in and read a book. The house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need and more. There are kayaks, a paddle board, indoor and outdoor games. One afternoon it was raining so we played monopoly which was fun! I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family and I hope to return again someday."

"My husband and I stayed here for our 15-year Anniversary. It was a nice little getaway for us. The house itself is very nice and its tastefully decorated. We spend every morning and evening on the front porch. We really enjoyed this tiny home. The only thing I would suggest is to replace the mattress in the bedroom. "This is a very lovely home in a beautiful setting on the lake. My wife and I were looking for someplace to just get away and relax. This place fit the bill perfectly. The grounds are well maintained making for such a peaceful setting. You can sit on the well built dock and fish, or just enjoy the view and serenity like we did. Inside, the recliners are a nice treat to sit and watch the large TV or just enjoy the view outside. The beds are comfortable also."

He advised us that the lower and larger pond is a private waters club lake and was off limits. Saved the day for my family!
"This facility came in clutch for me and my family on a long road trip. We had to leave our previous hotel after walking in and checking the beds for bed bugs turned up bed bug stains. We ran out of there as fast as we could but had nowhere to go. The kind woman on staff at the counter was extremely helpful and put us on the 3rd floor at my request even though it was 10 o clock at night and we believe the room to have been a bit of an upgrade from what we had hastily booked on the drive over. Her kindness was an extremely welcome and appreciated show of hospitality for us tired travelers. The room was spotless and the AC worked well to cool it down quickly. The Candlewood offered us a perfect night of sleep and all the amenities in the room we could have possibly needed. I can't say enough good about this hotel. The only thing I'd change is the lack of offering for a Continental breakfast. However, the friendliness, service, hospitality and terrific nights sleep were well worth the price of an admission and we would return for another stay in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, I didn't catch her name but the woman who helped us check in is a gem and I hope management knows this and treats her accordingly. 6/21 9:30-10pm check-in"
