“All in all, our stay was very good. A small, rustic cabin, which I loved. The only thing I would like to mention is that there are no clothes closets or dressers. There is a small chest in the bedroom. If planning to cook a lot, make sure you bring spices/seasonings and maybe a casserole or baking dish.Very quiet and peaceful and the view at the end of the road is beautiful Internet works best sitting on the front porch. It is pet friendly.”

“cabin need to be better mark with address could not see the number from the street”

“Great house…super cute and convenient. Very clean. Owner is very communicative.”

“Really nice cabin, great settling. The carpet could use a cleaning and the silverware was very limited, but we would still definitely stay there again.”

“We were looking for a quick quiet place to reset. This did the trick. Very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was clean and had all we needed for a simple weekend away. Host was very responsive. Will be back.”

“Large space.Advertised as having a futon in one of the bedrooms, which is the reason I booked it originally. Futon not there. This was rectified quickly, as they brought over a twin fold up bed. Nice view at the top of the hill. Reimbursed half of what I paid originally for stay, since we moved to another location (Sieverville) since there was way more to do) (I should have paid more attention to the fine print) . More things to do on site would have been very nice. Good to deal with. ……

“Beth is a wonderful Host. Excellent communication, very accommodating, friendly, kind and caring. The Caretaker Cottage was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets, lightning bug shows, and the beef cattle grazing next to the cottage. The birds chirping are such a delight. It's comforting that the cottage is pet friendly ”

“The property is set on a gorgeous view overlooking the river hot tub as well positioned for optimum view”

“Very nice place & very clean. Host was very prompt with answers to questions to questions.”

“Such a gem!”

“This cabin was great! Was driving all day and felt like we were at home instead of at a hotel. Will definitely have to consider making this our stopping point from now on when driving east.”

“Beautiful cottage, very relaxing!”

“Very clean and comfortable cabin. Nice location and host was very accommodating.”

“Had a great 25th anniversary get away! This location is close to several waterfalls. We brought our kayaks, kayaked to the bottom of Burgess falls. Then drove to the park, to hike and enjoy the scenery of top of the falls. The room had plenty of towels and wash rags. Love that the room had starter paper towels, trash bags, and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the AC was cold!! Check in was a breeze! The host was available via phone call for any questions.”

“The property was well maintained a beautifully kept. Check-in was easy and we had an enjoyable stay.”

“Beautifully furnished cabin! Super cozy with everything you need for a romantic getaway! Property is really quiet and peaceful! The back deck was a relaxing place to read and play card games. Loved staying here while we explored Rock Island State Park and Burgess Falls State Park!”

“House was very spacious, inside was clean and very nice outside wasn’t in the best shape but for the location of the property not much could be done overall great stay very remote great for a nice quiet weekend getaway”
