"Our preferred accommodation when visiting Bright. Clean, everything works, quiet, easy self check in done through SMS. We choose one of the spa rooms, a little pricier but the rooms have a north facing patio, are bigger and at the quiet rear of the property. Property is a 2 minute drive to town or 20 mins walk. Free wifi is available. The speed seemed ok. One criticism is the bed size is only double. We would prefer a queen or king option and would pay extra for that. The rooms are big enough to cater for it. We will certainly be back next time we are in the area. "

"Location is an easy walk to town. Had a 2 bed room which were separated by a part wall so still had privacy. Nice & clean & manager very helpful. Would stay again."

"Elk at falls creek was an amazing stay. The in house restaurant Sorella had amazing food and service was fast. The menu choice I felt was a bit limited, however of the choices , all was cooked exceptionally well and all were tasty. I liked that the property has a separate entrance to use after being out on the slopes as well as the area for taking off boots was plenty and close to my room. It was a nice touch to have a separate area for relaxing away from the main dinning area. Our host Jake was fantastic, before arriving communication was fast and he was a really nice person to chat too. In fact all the dinning and bar staff were welcoming and nice to chat with. Staying in one if the smaller rooms was comfortable. The bed was pretty comfortable, it was a nice touch having a smaller heating cupboard in my room as having a nice toasty jacket in the morning was a bonus. The bathroom was great too , a tad small to be expected although i had no complaints. The heated bath rack was great. The walk down to the slopes was easy enough, a little harder on the way back up the hill, but there was a shuttle bus which was all too easy. Ski hire was near by and the team down there were fantastic. The highlight and main reason for booking with elk was the location and the hot tubs which were a very big plus afterwards. "Matt and his team were awesome hosts - the food was excellent and so nice to just have it put in front of you at the end of the day! It is a bit tricky to find in the dark particularly if it’s been snowing but once you’re sorted it’s a great spot We would definitely stay there again. "
