“My family and I really liked "Our Neck of the Woods" cottage. We were returning home from a vacation in Michigan to St Louis and thought I'd be fun to go into Casey, IL to see all the world's biggest attractions before closing the book on vacation 2026. This property is quiet and welcoming. We had dinner at Richard's Farm Restaurant and it was excellent. We also saw a deer 10 yards from the cottage out back and a muskrat in the pdnd below along with other bird wildlife. Thank you for sharing……

“Jesus was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. House was clean and looked the same as in the pictures. Hot tub was a great feature on the cold nights with a nice new deck to relaxin on during the day. Lots of board games for rainy days or lazy nights. Master bedroom down stairs was very spacious with a comfy king bed, and a full bath attached with a soaking tub and shower. There was a tv and fireplace in the master bath to keep you warm and entertained while soaking.”

“We did have some issues with the wifi and there was some dust in the bathroom, the faucets, sink/counter weren’t clean, cobwebs and dead bugs on the floor by the living room window and under the dehumidifier that I emptied. The dryer vent was full. Other than those things, it was ok.”
