"Sowohl Madlen als auch ihr Mann waren äußerst lieb, zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit. Der Hund, der auf dem Grundstück lebt, ist ein absoluter Schatz, die Wohnung war sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet, das Bett war fast bequemer, als mein eigenes und ich hätte die Kissen am liebsten mitgenommen. "Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen über Silvester vor Ort. Die Ausstattung/Möblierung ist sehr spartanisch und einfach gehalten. Lichtkonzept im Haus ist nicht so toll und wenig gemütlich, speziell am Esstisch. Mobiliar am Esstisch sehr wackelig und instabil. Der Ausblick ist eine Katastrophe, da die Ferienhäuser alle ziemlich eng aneinader gebaut sind. Wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt, sitzt man schon fast vor dem Einghang des Nachbarn. Mit Hunden ist es schwierig, da die einzelnen Häuser nicht umzäunt...

"Haus und Umgebung absolut TOP. Es gab hier und da Mängel am Haus die ich telefonisch problemlos melden konnte. Was garnicht geht, ist das in einem 8 Personen Haus beide Duschen nicht funktioniert haben(die eine nur kaltes die andere nur heisses Wasser) Ein Lob dem Hausmeister der sich umgehend um die Reperatur gekümmert hat. Schade das bei der Duschpanele das Problem schon seit langen bekannt ist und nicht behoben wurde. Ansonsten ein schöner Kurztrip für uns gewesen,Danke."

"Ruhig gelegene FeWo für 2 Personen mit Hund perfekt.Wir hatten mit dem Wetter richtig Glück und konnten viele Ausflüge zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad machen, wenns die ganze Zeit regnet ist dort wenig in der Gegend und lesen vor dem Kamin angesagt. Ein Schrank oder Regal zum ablegen der Kleidung wäre noch toll, denn sonst muss man seine Kleidung im Gang auf das Gästebett ausbreiten.Für täglich kochen ist die Küche eher arbeitsintensiv, da kein Geschirrspüler verbaut ist.Zum Entschleunigen ist es dort aber sehr super mit netten Nachbarn und angenehmen Gastgebern."

"The hotel staff were really good. Breakfast was great and the dinner at restaurant was just perfect. The hotel has a very nice spa with a small swimming pool ( a bit too small for my taste). But the best thing was actually the amazing lake really close the hotel which was very nice. I will defiantly return. "

"An absolutely delightful boutique hotel overlooking the shores of Lake Muritz, and in the Old-Town area of Waren close to all amenities, restaurants, shops etc. Originally built as a young-ladies 'Finishing School' in the late 1800's, the hotel is full of period-atmosphere and history, and the decor and furniture reflects this. Our room was a really good size, and also had a period sofa, desk and coffee table, as well as a modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was a real treat of home-made and local produce, along-with cereals, muesli, breads etc. The owners speak very little English, but with my school-boy German (or Google-Translate would also work), they couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful with advice. The small additional charge for car-parking is very good value for Waren, where on-street charges can be quite expensive. If you are looking to stay in Waren and would like personal service, friendliness and a beautiful hotel with charm and history, then this is your place! (Note the opening hours of the reception desk - the hotel is unable to take late arrivals, which you should plan around.) "
