“Great place to discover the Tsitsikamma National Park. Quite a long drive to reach the hotel. Food was great and staff was very friendly. Overall, the hotel is a bit dated and mainly benefits from its great views. ”

“We stayed at Hogs Hollow for two nights whilst driving the garden route and we loved our stay. Our room - no 17 (or rather suite) was stunning. Breathtaking views from our private veranda and a spacious room with living area and large bed, and not to mention a wood burner that was freshly laid each day kept those chilly nights away. “Gorgeous and peaceful. Sitting in the garden staring at the mountains looming nearby was awe-inducing. The staff was very helpful and I had a lovely breakfast in the morning. There was some noise, particularly barking dogs, late into the night from the homes across the street.”

“We had a magical stay in Firefly cabin. It was tranquil with a delightful view. The wood burning stove was essential and perfect. Great location for visiting the nearby wildlife sanctuaries.”

“Tolle Umgebung. Auch das Village war sehr schön und fussläufig zu erreichen. Optimaler Startpunkt um die Kanutour in Tsisikama zu machen. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Es gab ein Buffet mit leckeren Quiches. Leider war alles kalt. Für einen Übernachtungsstop würden wir es wieder wählen”

Only downside is the drive to get there; the property is a good hour of dirt track off the main road and the drive is hairy. It should be only recommended for people work a utility or 4wd. ”
