Turner's Bay Cottage is located on the only inhabited island in Lake Charles. This 3 bed 2 bath home is located on a dead end street and overlooks one of the greatest fisheries in Louisiana, Turner's Bay. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous and you can enjoy them from the front porch or the master bedroom. The beds are super comfortable and the home is fully furnished. We live in this neighborhood and you will love it here. It's very safe and quiet.

My high school friends and I needed a quick getaway. The house was beautiful, perfect sunsets, and sunrises. Property manager had warned of the mosquito's being an issue at this time of year and really weren't that bad till the last night after a bit of rain. The property manager checked on us, gave us directions to where we could buy seafood. Wished we could stay longer and plan to go again.

Great location with a pretty sunrise/sunset
You can sit on the back porch and watch the sunrise and then relax on the front deck to watch it set. Peaceful neighborhood (even the construction next door was quiet). All the basic necessities taken care of (except food of course). Location was great (be mindful of the pontoon bridge, which my kids loved!) Will definitely use again when visiting family in Sulphur and Grand Lake.

I can it was a great stay. I will add these are things to be be prepared for. MOSQUITOES! Just be prepared. Just saying. Don’t wait to find repellents. It’s Louisiana. I absolutely loved it and hope to come back many more times. Great hosts.

Lovely home and area!
Wonderful time with family! Thank you. The house is large and great for a family vacation. Gorgeous sunsets and a nice breeze pretty much all the time, which was nice because it was 100 degrees or close to that every day. The owners are very responsive. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway.

Birthday spring break
House was perfect for our trip. Weather wasn’t as perfect but we all had a great time anyway. Owners were great and very accommodating. Location was good, just enough outside of town for peace and quiet. Only hiccup with the trip was my vehicle breaking down on the way. Luckily there was aDodge dealer close by so we left it there and continued our convoy to the house.

This house was in a great neighborhood and was just as presented online. We loved all the room in the house, and the washer and dryer. Close to things to do...was less than an hour to two shelling beaches and fun ships/barges to watch along with dolphins and lots of birdlife. Would recommend this property to anyone and everyone. The hosts were great and responded to any of our needs in a very timely manner.
