"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! "The property was really good. Clean, tidy and well presented. My only issue was that the radiators were not as warm despite being on the highest setting. The bedroom especially was very cold. Another negative is upto now I have not received my deposit back. Surely you should have a system that works for returning deposits back. "Very nice property. Mostly clean but being a cleaner myself I feel the doors and shaving mirror in the room could have done with a dust. Nice balcony, nice comfy bed and linen. Quiet at night. Nice bar area with nice outside area & with good snacks. Good for visits to the Cotswold villages etc. would stay again."

"The a/c was powerful, the room was clean, but I didn't realize from the pictures how very small and spare the room would be. I wouldn't say the pictures were misleading, but I didn't realize that I would have to literally squeeze between the bed and the wall, for example. The TV is mounted very high on the wall, making it uncomfortable to watch from the bed, because if it were mounted lower down, it would be impossible to pass it to reach the second bed. I was also not expecting only one towel per person, with no face cloth or hand towel, and one pillow per person. That said, the location was very convenient for bus trips into the center of Oxford, and there were some good cafes and restaurants nearby -- and an M&S Food. And the beds were very comfortable. We ended up here in part because I was having trouble finding hotels that offered twin beds at all. And I could see coming back even now that I know what to expect. I don't know that prices were especially good, but we visited during Oxford University's open days, which combined with tourist season probably put a premium on accommodations during our visit."

"Our room was a ground floor Deluxe room lake view with balcony as we took our dog with us. The balconies to these rooms are not individual to each room, it is a wrap around walkway, which is lovely, but not secure if you take a dog. There is no air conditioning in the rooms only a fan was provided. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was extremely comfortable. View from the room was very beautiful and tranquil. Staff very obliging and attentive. We had an evening meal in The Boat House, and was allowed to take our dog. You will be seated in area with no view of the lake, the view you will have is of the car park if you take a dog with you. This area is en route to the toilets too. Food and service was very good. A 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Bar - service was very good. It was very busy due to the football and people attending conferences, but service was quick at the bar and it was a good atmosphere. Our dog was allowed in the bar with us. The hotel was very busy, as it has a large conference Centre attached to it. The grounds of the hotel were well looked after. Parking - had to park on one of the further car parks which was about a 5 minute walk away. You can drop off and pick up outside of the reception to save struggling with luggage. I would definitely come and stay at this hotel again."
