“I booked 2 days at the Uvalde side of the duplex. It was a spontaneous trip, and I was relieved at how easy it was to book our stay. “This house suited our large family just right, we had a great time and the house had a farm house cozy feeling. Our children and family loved the time we spent together. There was plenty of supplies to make a whole Thanksgiving dinner. We definitely will be coming back in the future and highly recommend it. ”

“Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...

“Kat’s Kabin was a great place to watch the Geminid meteor shower. The dark skies are wonderful. It was so quiet. We could hear the owls & coyotes at night. The cabin kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We can’t wait to come back. ”
