This private one bedroom unit is the perfect quiet, country getaway with a beautiful sunrise for all seasons. The property is located right in the heart of Loudoun's Wine Country. A cozy one bedroom suite that can accommodate up to 4 guests. The suite includes 1 bedroom (king bed), living area (with queen sleep sofa), fully equipped kitchen, and 1 full bath with heated floors.

The suite is attached to the primary residence, however, you will have sole access to the single point of entry into the suite. The host will be available as much or as little as you need!

Amenities include Keurig coffee maker (with K-cups and creamer/sugar), smart TV, wifi, private entrance, and washer/dryer. Also included are bath towels, laundry detergent, bottled water, and light snacks. Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of the rolling pastures on the suite's private patio.

Enjoy the spa-like bathroom with luxurious heated flooring. Relax and unwind in the spacious shower with rain shower head. We have extra toiletries should you find that you need some for your stay.

We are located close to local wineries, such as Stone Tower Winery, Three Creeks, and The Barns. We are also close to wedding venues including Stone Tower Winery, Shadow Creek, Birkby House and Zion Springs.

Additional attractions include various breweries, the W & OD Bike trail, hiking trails, historical Harper's Ferry, and a quick 60 minute drive to visit Washington D.C.!

Mt.Gilead Sunrise-Country Suite
This location is fantastic! The views are so beautiful, the suite is a 10/10. I cannot say how lovely, peaceful, and relaxing it is because words are just not adequate to describe the experience we had. No steps, important to seniors The level of detail, and the more than well stocked cupboard and fridge allowed the 4 of us eat in several times. So appreciated. Also, the sofabed was so comfortable, and the bathroom was a spa-like beauty. We will look for reasons to go back. Thank you, Al and Nancy.

My wife and I recently stayed here as a quick weekend getaway for her birthday to unwind and go to a few wineries and breweries. From the very beginning of booking all the way to checking out, everything was absolutely perfect. Al and Nancy communicated everything thoroughly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They even provided local recommendations. The suite itself was just incredible. It was immaculately clean, modern, and had everything we needed and more. Al and Nancy went above and beyond to ensure every little detail and amenity was there to provide you with the most comfortable stay - even things we didn't think of ourselves that were nice to have. They even provided my wife a birthday card and bottle of wine. I can't say enough good things about the hosts and about the suite itself. Just blown away. It was a weekend we won't forget.

Perfect anniversary getaway
We had such a wonderful time staying here! In fact, it’s probably our favorite rental that we’ve stayed at so far! Al and Nancy thought of everything: from the bathroom extras, to the snacks on the counter, and even to the super sweet anniversary gift (a card and Prosecco), everything we could ever need was there! It was quiet and peaceful in the area, but also easy to get into town for a meal or activities. We hope to get the chance to come back again one day!

Al and Nancy's property is outstanding. The space was immaculately clean and displayed exceptional attention to craftsmanship. The decor was tastefully chosen, enhancing the overall ambiance. Perfect R&R!
My sister and I wanted a place to be able to unwind and relax a bit. This place was absolutely perfect to do just that! It is the most beautiful setting and the exterior to the until is very inviting. When walking into the unit you could tell the owners took amazing pride in it. It was extremely clean and the attention to detail was very noticed. Nancy couldn’t have made us feel more welcome than what she did! She gave very personal touches unique to my sister and I’s visit! I would recommend this place over and over again. My sister and I can’t wait to come back!

Perfect in every way
We were visiting the Middleburg/Leesburg area in celebration of my mom’s birthday. The Mt. Gilead suite was perfect in every way. Nancy and Al have thought of everything you need to feel at home and then some. It was so comfortable, clean and welcoming. The instructions were absolutely on point and the home was centrally located to all of the many activities in the area. We are already planning our next trip. We especially appreciated the cozy Christmas decor. Thank you so very much! A must stay.

This home takes the cake in every way for host hospitality! Generous and gracious is the hallmark of these hosts! If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Nancy responds very quickly and is gracious and kind! It is so evident the love and care that they have put into this place. Check-in was a breeze. The unit is, hands down, the most comfortable, welcoming and well thought out accommodation we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Literally, absolutely no detail was overlooked in how the place was decorated, designed and equipped. Everything just made you feel welcome and not wanting to leave. Excellent outdoor area to enjoy as well. The sunrises are sublime and well worth getting up early to enjoy from the swing or terrace furniture. We will definitely hope to return again and book our travel around when this location is available. My only advice, is not to arrive after dark, as some of the access roads are not curving and not lit, signs are small. The driveway in is curving around a pond and the sign that lights the driveway to the house has a very dimly lit sign. We thoroughly enjoyed being greeted by the geese and ducks each morning as we drove out past the pond. They are a memorable and enthusiastic welcoming committee! Thank you to Nancy and Al for being such marvelous hosts and sharing such an extraordinary property with us. I will be talking about this one to everyone! Absolutely the best of the best in every way imaginable!

What a gorgeous place to stay! It looks brand new and was so well appointed. The owners thought of everything! It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s what we loved about it. Beautiful sunrises and a beautiful view of the horse farm! Close to numerous wineries and breweries and we enjoyed riding the backroads to see the beautiful countryside. Couldn’t find a single negative for our stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful long weekend
We stayed over the Middleburg FIlm Festival weekend. The apartment appeared newly, tastefully renovated and well appointed with plenty of space for two adults. Our hosts were very thoughtful, leaving goodies for us and a note wishing us a Happy Anniversary, as it usually occurs on the Festival weekend. The apartment is on the lower level of their home, but completely private and quiet. I would highly recommend this property and our hosts!

THE Perfect Kid-Free Getaway

From the moment we drove up to Mt. Gilead Sunrise we felt welcome with the outdoor patio and decor. The warmth continued as we opened the door and found fresh flowers a note and snacks to greet us. Nancy thought of everything from blankets to a nightlight in the bathroom and lights on the patio to breakfast provisions. Highly recommend!!!!!

Outstanding Stay
Wife and chose to stay here in order to tour some of Loudon County vineyards and to celebrate our anniversary and also her birthday. Nancy made sure that we did not want for anything. Even surprised us with some extras to help us celebrate. Quarters are very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of items on hand in case you forgot something. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Place
This is the nicest place we have ever stayed. There were so many nice touches and the place was beautiful!! The bed was so comfortable, the setting was so relaxing. There were baskets of treats and plenty of drinks and breakfast starter foods in the refrig. She even left is a bottle of champagne and a small cake for our anniversary. We will definitely stay here again!!
