Had a wine tasting in the cellar of the house and we were very impressed with the whole affair. Would recommend the property to anyone wanting to visit the area."

"We hebben het heerlijk gehad. Inchecken ging moeizaam maar uiteindelijk konden we binnen.Een raar ding, er staat dat er een spa is. Dat klopt maar die is van de buren.Jammer want het was erg warm.Huis zelf was heel fijn, omgeving fantastisch.We hebben genoten van het balkon met het prachtige uitzicht!"

"The location is beautiful and the house is wonderful. We stayed for two days and visited local sites. There are wineries everywhere and many tasting options. There is a local brewery with great homemade pizza an 11 minute walk - it is a place for locals and the food was great. This house is a super comfortable home base to explore the local towns. We loved it and will be back. We stayed 4 adults and 3 children very comfortably."

We explored the region during our stay and were very happy with the location. The views from the property are spectacular and the veranda and outdoor space were the perfect place to relax. "We absolutely felt comfortable in this lovingly restored home near the center of La Morra. Pino and his wife were amazing hosts, met us when we arrived and he was even able to save us a parking space near the house to make it easier to unload our bags. Everything was absolutely clean and comfortable along with small comforts such as snacks for morning, coffee, and little touches like a chocolate on the pillow and dog bowls for our small dog. We made an evening walk every evening in the surrounding forrest. The area has a lot to offer, from the barolo region to the finale ligurie beach, all with in an our reach. Hotel Calissano

10/10 Excellent

"Spent 4 nights at Hotel Calissano in August while doing wine tours. Chose it based on a recommendation from the tour guide and it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly at the reception, the bar, and the restaurant. It is a five minute walk to the pedestrian zone of Alba so the location is excellent and easily accessible. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station. My room was a good size and very comfortable. Despite being next to the elevator, it was very quiet. Would happily recommend Hotel Calissano and will stay there again the next time I am in Alba."
