“It served our purpose. Parking wasn't very close to the camper. There were ants inside. Some plastic utensils, which was fine if they would have had forks. Never could find a switch to turn the reading lights (?) on over the bed. Very nice welcome book and notes left regarding hot water and living room lights. It was not very clear to me how to light the stove so we never had a chance to use that. The first step into the camper was a bit high. Finally, there were no exit directions, like……

“Cabin was as described. The door code didn’t work and we messaged back and forth and never did get a working door code. We tried a side door and it was left unlocked is how we got in but we waited for maintenance for over 2 hours. We left the property unlocked all weekend because we never got a working code maintenance guy said Augusta was safe not to worry about it. Also the cabin was full of lady bugs. ”

“Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. “An absolute perfect place to stay with our dogs. Everything about it was pet friendly. The most relaxing place we have stayed with our 4 dogs. Host was quick to communicate before and even during our stay. Above and beyond amenities. We had cookies waiting for us upon arrival. We will most definitely be staying here next time we are in the area. Quiet location with a fanced in area to let the dogs off leash.”
