"We enjoyed our stay immensely at the Shouse at Highland Hills Hideout. It was clean, cozy, and super comfortable. The hosts were warm and welcoming, very easy to communicate with. Then there are the cows! It was very relaxing. We visited the Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend while we were there. Wonderful.Plenty of cafes in Emmetsburg if you don't feel like cooking.We look forward to staying here again. "

"We stay here whenever we visit family and always appreciate the cleanliness and quiet of Brookstone. The manager and other personnel were super friendly and even had an air pump for our balloons and a box of nice toys for our nieces' kids to play with!! We appreciate the fruit at breakfast, though the menu did not vary the entire 4 days we were there:-) All in all, a very nice stay!"
