“We loved staying at Wagtail Nest, it was exactly what we expected and more. Eight days of relaxation and peaceful living near all the areas we wanted to explore. The cottage was delicately set within the grounds and we took to the neighbouring horses, the elderly dog Whiskey paid regular evening visits for a tickle. As avid bird watchers we loved the resident Tawny Frogmouth that visited each evening showing off it's hunting skills. Would highly recommend teh 'Nest' for those looking to escape……

“A perfect place for a beachside weekend. Check in process was a breeze, house was tidy and had just about everything we needed. If we're back in town, we will stay again. ”

“We had an amazing stay at villa 1! It was very clean, spacious, and in a wonderful location—close to the beach, a grocery store, and a lovely café. The villa was perfect for our pet, with a spacious, safe, and fully fenced backyard where he could run and play freely. It was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, especially with their pet!”

“Amazing property with a chefs kitchen. Everything is easy access. This place seats many with the biggest sofa ever. Lots of room for a huge family. We did not have cell service but the internet works really well. The beach access is right across the street , you hear the waves from the house. I like the heated towel rails , its a comfortable place. We will be back!!!!”

“Stayed at Carrajung Estate while working for a few days in the area. Very pleasant country-style accommodation in a secluded location. Hosts were super helpful throughout the booking process and were very flexible with check-in arrangements. The cottage itself was nice and tidy, although it did feel a little run down, especially for the price. ”

“Stayed at this property for the long weekend with my family of 5. Very spacious. Beach and general store only a short walk away. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Golden Beach area. Host was very responsive and friendly. ”

“This property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. All the kitchen supplies were in abundance, the beds were comfy and the star of this property is the firepit. We absolutely loved our stay. Angelo and Leanne are the super hosts and very friendly people to deal with. We couldn't ask for a better stay for the long weekend. Thank you for having us.”
