"We chose and confirmed a room that specified a view of the harbor. This was not a request; this was the description of the room. When we checked in we were told that a harbor view room was not available.Our room had a view of only the backs of some old buildings.
In addition. there was a large support column in the middle of the room combined with a sloping ceiling that blocked access to the right side of the bed."

"In order to close the door, you have to slam it so all you hear is the door is being slammed all day all night. It's noisy. The beds were uncomfortable. There's no water kettle. The only thing good about it. The shower worked pretty good and that's about it."

I was not keen on Cherbourg in the past, but now it's clean and with great walking paths, liking the pedestrenisation, it's so nice, always lovely flowers and a very nice place for a stay over! "This is a basic, budget hotel. It does exactly what is expected. The room was a good size. The beds were confortable and the bathroom perfectly functionable.
It was a bit further out of town than expected, but walkable from the ferry terminaland bus station. There is a bus that goes straughts past tue door, but we made use of the hire scooters."

Le personnel est fort sympathique, très bon accueil.
La chambre était identique au photo.
