“Excellent location right on the outskirts of Old Forge. Secluded, friendly neighborhood (seasonal houses/cabins) just minutes from the lake. Pass allows access to a secluded, small community beach or swimming area on the lake. Camp Pawnee is exquisitely decorated with custom furniture, paintings and other fun decor. WiFi was great, and sufficient for our needs, including streaming services. Property manager was attentive, easy to reach by email and very friendly. Back deck and yard were great,...

“Very convenient location quick walk into the village. The house was clean and well stocked and very beautiful with lovely art work. If you have a little one, everything you need is there (ours is one) so it's a lot less you have to pack. Our six year old nephew LOVED his room with the bunk beds, the kids books and toys. The owners are quick to respond and answer any questions you might have. We had a great time kayaking. Can't wait to stay here again. ”

“My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too.
