"The hotel is OK for the price, basic but in a pretty setting. However, it stated on the booking confirmation guests could call for check in after 6pm. Having called multiple times and never got a reply I got to the hotel at 10pm not knowing if I’d be able to check in or if I would have to find a last minute alternative. "The staff at the Hostel couldn't have been any nicer. We had a misunderstanding with our payment but Lisa and her colleagues were extremely helpful and friendly to all of us. "I was at Haven, formerly Hotel Schmidt-Monique in Bochum for 8-days. I arrived 25-minutes before the “official” check-in time and was told I could check-in early for €20.
