“The house is very nice, old and stylish and so is the garden with plants and trees that are characteristic of the Kenya coast. I know that the owner wants to build a pool this spring, which would make the house perfect during the hot and humid days of the hotter season. More electric fans in the house would help to sleep when there is a little breeze in that area. “Located of the house is fantastic, on the beach next to a calm and warm sea perfect for toddlers! House was spacious and offred some nice rooms. The stairs were not convenient, very steep and high, not nice for a toddler or high heels. Chef cooks very well but you really have to double check what you agreed with her every day. Covid measures were unfortunately ignored. Hygiene was poor in the kitchen. House in general was dusty and had sticky railings along the stairs etc. Compound was……

“We have stayed several places on the east coast of Kenya. This was by far the best location in relation to the beach and restaurants. The pool was a highlight and the best we have ever had. Alfred was always on hand quickly when we had a need. The house was very spacious and for our family of five it was more than ample. However, the house is very old, or at least it appears that way. “We absolutely loved our stay on Mambrui beach. The house was so beautiful - really wonderful architecture and very originally decorated. It was super peaceful - and we spent most of our time in the coconut palm surrounded swimming pool. The house was very big for the number of bedrooms and felt very spacious.
