“Lovely building in quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. The garden games were fun. Although there isn't a bar, as such, a good selection of drinks are kept in 'Mother Superior's' office and available via calling reception. There is no restaurant on site but there are restaurants nearby. Overall a pleasant stay. 5 stars would be achieved by offering breakfast even a continental type.”

“My booking was confirmed and the host contacted me later the next day to tell me they were overbooked. They said they had been booked for my stay for over 2 months. Property was on several sites. How they did not know this for 2 months is beyond my comprehension. They apologized and basically told me it was my problem to deal with and also told me to cancel. I did not cancel, I contacted Expedia to have them handle it. They found me an amazing property. It was further away, but very nice and top……

“Very friendly staff. Great location with appropriate parking in front of room. Lovely bathroom with good shower. Beds ok but didn’t like the provided pillow but tolerable for 1 night. The overall room at first glance was clean but the provided cups and cutlery looked dirty. The ones we wanted to use we washed ourselves and ensured to clean them prior to leaving. Visible filth on the aircon remote and couldn't get the aircon to work for warmth but didnt bother us because we brought warm winter……

“Great location as you can walk to the town centre quickly. Staff were nice .Rooms were cleaned well except the pillows. I have only a few things I dislike, remember we tend to comment on the things we dislike. The room had an ant problem, bed pillows smelt of body odour and absolutely rubbish lighting in entire room. Putting on makeup was hard as no natural or proper bathroom lights. Oh wait , I could hear all the noise very clear from the pub as we were positioned next to it but fortunately……
