“My wife, our daughter, her significant other, and our two grandsons travelled to Ireland for a 5 night stay, followed by 4 days in England. For our time in Ireland, we booked our stay at this property at New ark et on Fergus, as it was centrally located for our day trips to the west and southwest regions of Ireland. The property was close to the Shannon airport, close to pubs, and grocery stores, and reasonably close to access to the motorways. We spent most of our days driving around Ireland,……

“From the beginning to the end our stay at Jim and Annies house, everything was just perfect!! We loved coming back after a long day of a sightseeing and unwinding there. We have traveled often and stayed at many AirB&Bs, but this is by far one of our favorites! They even stocked the fridge with staples and snacks and delicious bottles of wine!! Also Jim drove us to town for supplies the very first day as we didn’t have our car yet! Can’t wait to go back and visit them again someday!”

“The Derg House was perfect for our stay with lots of space and wonderful views from the house and from the garden. We enjoyed all aspects of the house with seating areas for all types of activities. Around the fire pit in the evenings was an especially lovely time and we saw the Aurora Borealis which was very special. Definitely a prime location for trips and for seeing family in near-by Nenagh. Thank you for a memorable vacation.”

“The townhouse was very nice. It's not very big, but more than adequate for the four of us driving around Ireland. We liked that it was a townhouse and not a hotel. So, there's a living room and dining room in addition to the bedrooms. There's also a small, cozy backyard. There was a slight problem with communication because the owner sent instructions via Travelocity/Expedia and the message wasn't delivered. So, we called and he sent it again. But he was also very helpful on the phone and gave……

“The Shannon Castle Stay was wonderful. The location was perfect, and the cottages were just the right size for me and my family to travel throughout Ireland or just stay and relax. We plan to go back when we return to Ireland.”

“Very quaint cottage in a peaceful setting. We loved seeing the farmer gather his cows each morning as well as enjoying the sounds of he birds by the feeder. Being so rural, it took a little drive to get to any major roadway, but we quickly figured out the best routes. The cottage had many nice little amenities such as instant coffee, tea, seasonings, even fries in the freezer. Owner was very responsive when we had a question and gave us suggestions of things to do and where to eat in the area.……

“The house was lovely, clean, well furnished (in a way that makes you feel like you’re visiting somewhere special), and spacious. We loved waking up in the morning to the spectacular views and returning home after sight seeing to a company friendly kitchen and comfortable living room. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends.”
