For most visitors, the best time to go to Mezná is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) months. These periods offer pleasant weather for outdoor activities and fewer crowds than the peak summer season.

Late spring is ideal for couples and nature enthusiasts. The weather is generally mild, with average temperatures ranging from 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F), and the countryside is lush and green. This is a great time for hiking or cycling along the Kamenice and Edmund Gorges, where the rivers are full. You'll find fewer visitors at popular viewpoints like the Pravčická Brána rock formation, allowing for a more serene experience.

Early autumn is also an excellent time for those who appreciate cooler temperatures and scenic beauty. The average temperatures range from 10°C to 18°C (50°F to 64°F), and the foliage begins to change, offering striking colors in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. This period is particularly suitable for photographers and hikers looking to explore the trails without the summer heat or crowds.
