“Booked last minute. Wasn’t sure what to expect. It was great! Nice friendly welcome, good size family room, lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. “This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. “The room, although small, was beautifully clean. Tea coffee etc was topped up every day. The little fridge had fresh milk every day. “Excellent 10 out of 10. Our 3 day Xmas period stay with our dog was from arrival absolutely superb. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful; the room was warm, comfortably and clean. “My family of three stayed in the Nidderdale EnSuite room. It was plenty big enough and the beds were very comfortable. Nice touches included tea and biscuits awaiting our arrival in our room. We did not partake in breakfast due to other plans with family, but I have no doubt it would have been lovely. Amanda had great communication prior to our stay. I would definitely recommend it.”

“If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. There were so many extras included - books, binoculars, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/fresh……
