“Check in details were provided only a few days before our arrival and only after we reached out to inquire. Photos did not include exterior photos of the home so it wasn’t very easy to find, nor were the instructions clear that the “front door” is actually the second floor so instead we walked in to the unfinished basement (also not included in the photos) which made us concerned we were walking in to the wrong house! House was also not very clean unfortunately!”

“The rental left a bit to be desired. The interior was nice and comfortable and clean. The exterior was not as expected. There was no dock in the water as advertised, the paddle boat was filled with water and dirty, the outdoor furniture was not cleaned and had dead bugs all over it. I communicated the week prior to arrival asking about life jackets to use the boats and was told they should be there but it would be confirmed. I kept following up but no confirmation. There were no lifejackets……

“We had a wonderful stay at Grandma’s with our two little boys and dog. It was clean, cozy and a perfect location for our weekend ice fishing trip! We enjoyed walking the rail trail, watching ducks by the dock, passing snowmobiles, and playing puzzles/games. Highly recommend for a family getaway. We would definitely stay again.”

“This is by far the best experience staying in a VRBO we have ever had. The cabin is super clean and stocked with everything you could need and so much more! I loved having phone chargers on both sides of the bed and the motion lights going up the stairs! Tricia was very quick to respond and gave many suggestions on things to do and restaurant suggestions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

“Pros: The views of the lake are beautiful - especially during the fall when the trees are turning. Check in was easy (but had to call to get the instructions). The house is equipped with Roku tv and the bathroom has a heater. Cons: Zero response from the owner despite multiple direct messages through VRBO. Had to call customer service to get check in instructions - never got any for check out. Other: I’m glad I read prior reviews and knew the property was right next to neighbors and at the end……
