“Brilliant resort, well catered for everyone with kids and for those who love sports. Food on ala carte restaurants is amazing and very good quality. Waterpark is brilliant and there are plenty of pool optipns so it doenst feel crowded. The only downsides are: 1\. the beach is small and it gets busy quickly..Also, it is sandy beach, but half way through the water, there are large sharp stones at the bottom so you need to be careful. 2\. There isnt much to see around the hotel within a walking……

“The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! ”

“The hotel location is in peaceful area, several groceries near hotel and the parking place for the car is in the mall very close at hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly, also the room was very clean. There are next to the mall buss stop where you can board a free city buss which take to the city center. ”

"We had a great stay at Creta Maris Resort. The all inclusive setup makes it super relaxing – you don’t have to think about anything and can fully unwind. Most staff were friendly and helpful, except for one or two at Enomy Restaurant whose English made communication tricky, and the luggage staff who seemed a bit indifferent. Food-wise, I recommend booking the à la carte restaurants. Buffets offer variety but are average in quality. Enomy has more choices than Estia. We tried Alatsi – excellent service, amazing sea view, food slightly salty, but the crème brûlée was a highlight. Desserts overall are large and satisfying. Pool bar snacks weren’t great, but drinks and cocktails were excellent – perfect for sunny poolside moments. Our room had a partial sea view and the resort is beautiful, with lots of photo spots. There’s a private beach, plenty of pools, and activities you can book easily through their app. I suggest staying at least 3 days. With 4 or 5 nights, you can also explore the town. Overall, it’s not super luxury, but it’s a great fit for families and covers a wide range of needs. Recommended."
