"Hotel is very well located, near many restaurants and shops. It is about 20 min walk from Sukhbaatar Square. The room and hotel were very clean and fairly new. We were on a corner room so had a nice view as well. Had breakfast one morning and it wasn’t very good. Buffet style with lots of choices, but the food had been sitting there for a while and was all soggy. We didn’t go back for breakfast for the rest of the trip even if it was included. Since the hotel is on a passing street, there is a lot of noise during the night from honking and cars. We dont mind, but if you are a light sleeper, this could bother you. Reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the staff service. The staff is willing to help, but every time we tried to ask for something it didn’t work out. We flagged we had laundry both in the room and informed the front desk, but laundry was never picked up. We asked them to call a taxi, but they were unable to do so, so we ended up having to walk. We asked for a taxi to the airport and specified we needed to be able to pay card. The morning of, we also asked the front desk again to confirm we could use card and they said yes. The “taxi” turned out to clearly be someone’s friend and while he was nice, was not a legit taxi and when we got to the airport, he only could accept cash. So we had to run around the airport looking for an ATM. Bottom line: clean, new rooms, not great service."

"We had an amazing time at the Grand Hill Hotel! It's well located and we walked to all the museums and monasteries we wanted to visit. The hotel was very clean and staff was very accommodating, including suggesting and preparing an early morning breakfast to go on our last day! I recommend them if you are going to Ulaanbaatar!"

"Clean, spacious and comfortable! My room was pretty nice. Fully stocked mini bar, toiletries and linen. Furniture made sense, a real desk and comfortable chair. Even has an ironing set and robe. Wonderful! Shower had excellent temperature and pressure. big hang up was that I could not turn the heat off in my room and ended up sleeping with the window completely open. I was roasting. The restaurant staff here...professionally dressed but low vibe, deadpan and seemingly unresponsive. No matter what language used. My greetings and thanks we're ignored every time. Except the management. Management at the restaurant, 5fl, were very attentive and helpful! But the food was outstanding either way! Phenomenally helpful, courteous and attentive housekeeping! Receptionists were very knowledgeable and professional. Café and bar were both clean and nice. A few food items and drinks were unavailable. No problem. A There are plenty of convenience stores near this hotel. And there is easy access to the mall from the first floor and 5th floor. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you for having me."
