“Me and my family stayed a week here and we loved it! The location was convenient and the area was very nice and quiet. The home was clean and the owners were very easy to contact and kept in touch. The ac came in handy since the weather was very warm and humid when we visited. I would definitely stay here again and will definitely recommend them to others visiting the island. ”

“The Thomas Guard house is a very special place! The setting is spectacular, with waterfall and jungle views from multiple lanais. There was plenty of space for our group of seven to spread out (including three kids and two grandmas) - everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was ideal for our family. The house is beautifully and lovingly restored and well-maintained. There is no air conditioning, but each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a floor fan, so we all slept in relative……

“This is a beautiful, spacious country side property. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a complete spice rack, olive oil, some coffee, sweetener packets and creamer. Liked the 2 queen beds (one sofa bed) and a king. Most places here have full instead of queen. Bath was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Shower floor was non-slip. Hair dryer provided. Our favorite thing was the free petting zoo. Many goats, sheep, ducks, dogs and a cat. They love people and will come……

“We had a brief and wonderful stay at the tiny house. Adam is a responsive host at a fantastic location. This tidy, tiny, house had all our family of four needed to end our visit back on the big island. The location felt remote and yet minutes to Hilo’s historic district as well as quick access to the nearby surf break. Gas range and outdoor fireplace under the covered porch made for lovely home cooked and memorable meals. Overall, a gem! ”

“What a wonderful jungle escape! We had a great time at the rainforest cottage! Everything we needed was there! It is so secluded and the outdoor shower is unbelievable! Everything was clean and neatly organized and we felt right at home. We so enjoyed Mango the cat. He is so sweet and lovable, and just a joy to be around. Thank you so much for letting us partake of your fruit trees and your property. The 3 nights we were there were just wonderful. I can’t say enough. You will not be disappointed……
