“We very much enjoyed the house. We had a difficult time finding it and was not able to contact the owner. He is a teacher who was unavailable during the day. Knowing that ahead of time would have been better. There are no street signs or numbers on the house. Once we spoke to him he was very helpful with extra towels, advice on travel, anything we needed. Once we were in it the house was awesome. Beautiful water views, 5 minute drive to a beautiful beach, 10 minutes from Naxos port, 5 minutes……

“This well furnished beach duplex is an ideal place for one or two couples to chill on the beach or to branch out to hike the trails that link Naxos’ mountain villages. The house is located on the southern, less developed end of Plaka Beach, but is still in easy reach of markets, bars and restaurants. A car is a must. Akis and Lorien are quick to respond with helpful recommendations. We would love to return and already miss watching the sunset from our bedroom balcony.”

“Beautiful counrtyside location with lovely views. Quiet neighbourhood, enjoyed walks around the stunning village, like going back in time. Would liked some kitchen amenities for cooking. Definitely need a car for this spot. A very unique experience authentic Greek lifestyle.”

“David was a fantastic host. The place was very clean and was just as advertised. The only slight issue is that parking in front of the unit is very tight so it is better to park down a steep hill and walk to the unit. I would definitely recommend this property to other travellers.”

“Überaus nette und hilfreiche Vermieter, die im Haus nebenan wohnen. Ruhige, aussichtsreiche Lage und dennoch sind Bus, Minimarkt, Tavernen, langer, kindersicherer Strand fußläufig in gut 10 Minuten erreichbar. Gut eingerichtete Küche schattiger Garten.”

“Very nice beach cottage, excellent host, very friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of good suggestions. 3 minutes walk to the beach and all the restaurants, 15 minutes away by car from Naxos port and town. House has a beautiful garden where you can relax at the end of the day. We’ll definitely come back.”

“Sono stati 3 giorni molto piacevoli, luogo immerso nella natura. Il cottage è piccolino ma ha tutto ciò che serve, il pergolato con ama he è la fine del mondo. Luogo ventilato a due passi dal mare. La spiaggia sotto il cottage è abbastanza ventilata, non adatta a bimbi, ci spostavamo a Moutsouna in spiaggia. Nei dintorni non c'è nulla, pace relax e stelle infinite. Unica nota negativa la strada per arrivarci, sono 10/15 minuti di macchina a 20 km/h di sterrato brutto, sarebbe preferibile una……

“We stayed at Gatis House for 9 nights, and really enjoyed it. We were a family of five adults, had lots of room. Gatis is located close to the restaurants, beach, ferry and attractions. It has a view of the water and a nice balcony . If back in Naxos, we will stay here again.”

“We rented this house the second time and we had very good time in this house and in Naxos. We where a family with 5 persons and we had enough space and everthing was perfect as expected.”

“Acceuil chaleureux. Belle propriété avec une grande terrasse et vue sur montagne et mer. Petit jardin agréable. Voiture ou scooter indispensable car la propriété est un peu en altitude, et la route est en pente importante. Il y a 2 voisins au rez de chaussée, mais sans aucun vis à vis, ni bruit.”

“Loved being across from the beautiful beach and being away from the busy centre of Chora/Naxos Town. Conventionally located above the vehicle rental shop which we ended up using! Baloney access from both bedrooms was nice. We travelled as two couples and both rooms were very comfortable.”

“Nice apartment with enough space inside and out for a couple/family stay. Lovely pool with bar for snacks and drinks which are not over priced. Spotlessly clean with regular housekeeping service.”

“Nous étions une famille de 4 personnes et l'hébergement était très propre, spacieux et conforme à la description. Le toit terrasse nous a permis de faire quelques petits repas en admirant le coucher de soleil !! Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Emanuela qui a été de bons conseils et disponible. Il faut absolument avoir un moyen de locomotion car l'hébergement est un peu excentré.”

“Great place with full kitchen, washing machine, and beautiful updated bathrooms (1.5). Rooftop deck up a spiral staircase gets morning sun. Very convenient to the castle and port areas, restaurants, shops, etc. Lots of street noise with many using this street to park motorbikes and loud vendors and restaurant queuing right outside window.”

“We enjoyed our brief stay here very much. Wish it had been longer! The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Every thing was clean and seemed brand new - even the pans etc. in the kitchenette. We were in the lower ground floor so no view but it there was plenty of daylight and the room was bright and airy. The bed was really comfortable with quality sheets and nice pillows - something you rarely find in Greece. Great walk in shower with fixed ceiling rose, and hand rose - and……

“Sehr schönes Zimmer, nur Bad etwas komisch nur mit Glaswand zum Zimmer getrennt (wers mag!). Etwas entfernt vom Zentrum (ca. 10min zu Fuss) und in der Nachbarschaft 7-8 süsse Kätzchen die gerne zu Besuch kommen wenn man Leckerlis hat.”
