This principal church is often on the itineraries of travelers to Ulan-Ude. But Odigitrievsky Cathedral isn't the only drawcard in the area. Buryat State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, Bestuzhev Russian Drama Theater, and Buryatia History Museum are some other worthwhile attractions close by.
